General Scholastic Aptitude Test - GSAT

  • Objectives

To enhance opportunities for Thai students, Thammasat University, Chulalongkorn University and Srinakharinwirot University have collaborated on a new standardized test called the GSAT or "General Scholastic Aptitude Test."

GSAT was developed as another academic credential that Thai students can use when applying for international or English programs for bachelor's and post-graduate degrees at leading Thai universities and institutes of higher education.

  • GSAT Equivalency

GSAT was deliberately developed to measure and evaluate the scholastic aptitude of high school students and university graduates, aiming at a level equivalent to the New SAT and other internationally recognized tests so that participating Thai universities can use the GSAT score as an alternative selection criterion.

  • GSAT Score Validity

The GSAT score has been valid for 2 years after the test was taken.

  • GSAT Score's Recipients

In the process of applying for GSAT test, the student has to select the universities as well as the faculties who will be the recipients of GSAT score. The student can select none up to four recipients for each test. The student can check his or her score on the website of the test administrator (www.GSAT.tu.ac.th) within one month after the test was taken.
